http://clearlyclassic.blogspot.com/2011/01/first-time-for-everything.html haha I've given it to you too! I love getting clothes from Goodwill. It's so cheap!
Your skirt is super cute. Is Plato’s closet like a thrift store? I think we have on in Va. but I've never been. How do the prices compare to your local thrift store?
Rachel--Thanks for the compliments! Plato's Closet is a thrift store that specializes in name-brand teen clothing. The prices are decent, you will pay more for higher brand items (regardless of actual quality), but on average shirts are $6-$15, pants are $12-$20, and shoes are around $7. It is a completely different experience than shopping at the Goodwill, because almost everything is in like-new condition, but you have to be very picky with quality (an overpriced name brand T-shirt? No thanks!). I like it for a change, but I prefer going to the Goodwill where you can really find some fabulous pieces.
Hi everyone! I am a young 20-something who lives with her husband, Mr. P, and her cute (but demented) little kitty in a big city in the Northwest USA. I started Developing Style in early 2010 to try to be more deliberate in how I present myself to the world. I am not incredibly rich, I do not have an impeccable wardrobe—I’m just an everyday girl trying to define my personal style. I hope you enjoy my (almost) daily outfit pictures and my various features as I try to determine what creates a distinctive style and how I can apply that in my day to day life! To contact me, please email plummyplum@hotmail.com.
Love the mix of the colours in the scarf and shirt! And not to mention the boots!
ReplyDeleteI have awarded you with the Stylish Blogger Award.
