Bright Mornings

I love how the mornings are finally getting brighter--it makes me so cheery on my way to work!



I will be happy when it gets a bit warmer, though--I am wearing an Underarmour shirt plus a thick camisole layered underneath everything else!

True Grit

I watched True Grit today and decided to wear my cowboy boots to the theater to get myself in the proper mood. I find that I am often inspired to wear new styles (or old styles in new ways) by movies.

White As Snow

I fear that my skin is, indeed, turning as white as snow due to lack of Vitamin D! I have been working longer hours at work and the only time I see sunlight is on weekends. This, unfortunately, means that I have been remiss in posting my outfits. I am hoping that my before-work photos will become possible within one or two weeks, as it has just been too dark recently to take any photos in the morning!


The weather has been so odd here--alternating snow flurries with dreary rain with bright sun!



I also have still been working on my new project. It is another blog, although quite different than this one. I am developing content and refining my initial ideas as the moment, but it is still a ways off from being ready to be 'born,' so to speak.

What I Ski In

I went skiing for the first time this weekend--it was so much fun! It was also FREEZING (it was 4 degrees Fahrenheit when I was outside skiing, for a high of the day around 15) so this is what I wore, seen here on a hike after skiing:


Pants: THREE pairs. Underarmour, wool long underwear, and these cotton pants. I was toasty!
Shirts: Underarmour, wool longsleeve, Marmot zipup, and red rain jacket.
PLUS: hat, scarf, wool socks and hiking boots!

Back To School

I had several meetings at work today, so I chose a very conservative, normal look of pants and a blazer. My Naturalizer shoes were a comfy choice and my sweater added warmth (there is snow on the ground!).
